The caramel apple dip is out of the book Gooseberry Patch Christmas All Through the House. They attributed the recipe to Brenda Harrell of Beulaville, North Carolina. This dip has also been tried on spice cookies to rave reviews.
Ingredients 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1/2 c caramel ice cream topping 1/4 c honey 1/4 tsp cinnamon 3-4 red apples, cored and sliced Procedure Combine the cream cheese, caramel topping, honey and cinnamon in a small food processor. Mix until smooth. Store in refrigerator until chilled. Serve with apple slices, bagel crisps, cookies, etc.
