Mincemeat Pie I noticed too late that a mincemeat pie recipe calls for 2-pkg None such condensed mincemeat for a 9" pie. Only having 1-pkg I added additional fruit to stretch out what I had. The results were quite good. 1-pkg None Such condensed mincemeat. 1/2c rum (I like dark) 1c water 1-apple diced 1-pear diced 3-fistfulls currents Crumble mincemeat into pan. Add rum, water, apple, pear and currents. Bring to simmer or low boil for about a minute. Cool and add to unbaked pie shell. Bake about 375F for 30min (watch to make sure it doesn't burn) Cool and enjoy
